A friend from high school that I still have contact with thanks to facebook, recently got some wonderful news…she’s pregnant!!! Unfortunately she’s not as lucky as I was when pregnant with Addison in the morning sickness department (find out all the symptoms of pregnancy in our info pages). It’s not just affecting her in the morning but night too (I still don’t know why they call it “morning sickness”). This means that she is struggling to keep up with her blog, The Whimsical Wife.
Her name is also Melissa, there must be something in a name because she is very creative too!! She has a real flair for design and comes up with some fantastic creative ideas that all DIYers will love! If you haven’t already, check out her blog http://www.thewhimsicalwife.com/.
One of Melissa’s most recent projects has been to make a dessert table for her mum’s 50th birthday party. I mentioned to her about Addi’s 1st birthday party and she asked if I would like to guest blog for her about Addi’s teddy bear picnic dessert table.
