Over the last couple of days I have been very busy sewing some Lissylane felt and button flowers for a Amy from Victoria.
Amy contacted me over the weekend regarding purchasing some of my felt and button flowers. I naturally assumed that they were just for a wedding however she explained to me that her son had recently passed away and she had been busy making some blankets to donate to the hospital that looked after her and her son. She liked the look of my flowers and thought they would be perfect to attach to the blankets.
After hearing what she was wanting my flowers for I offered to make them for her and donate my time. So I have been busy sewing the last two days and shipped them off to her today. She has promised to write a little article to feature on my Lissylane website about what she is doing, as I think it is just a wonderful and generous thing she is doing! Being pregnant with a son myself, it really is close to my heart and really touched me. I’m so glad that I could help, even if it is in such a small way.
