I’m very sad to say that this is the last of our photo a day. I’ve had to make the hard decision to stop, and if it wasn’t for the floor/house disaster I think I could have managed to go longer and perhaps for the entire 365 days. But for now I’m hoping to wrangle together a photo a week, but we will have to wait and see. I’m so sad to have to stop, but life has just got in the way of taking the photos. This is all I managed for today, a typical photo of you with two drinks on the go (water and milk) and eating, some days it’s like you don’t stop!

We have come home to a disaster site, and this week is going to be a nightmare while we wait for someone to re sand and polish the floors after a horrible job was done. Doing our best to keep you both entertained, you have been watching your favourite videos on youtube since we have no tv for the meantime.

For our entire holiday you and Daddy have been going for rides around our accommodation on your trike. You still refuse to use the pedals but there are quite a few hills that you are flying down. Here’s a nice photo of you on a walk on Father’s Day with your Daddy.

After a bit of a chilly swim in the swimming pool it was time to warm up back at the room in the spa bath. It’s also a very important moment to note down…you were standing in the buff and you told us that you needed to do a pee. Daddy took you to the toilet and you did your first pee in the toilet, you were very proud.

You had a fantastic time at Australia Zoo today. I snapped this one of you having a little rest and cuddle with Daddy while looking at your favourite animal…the rhinos.

After a long drive and before we check in to where we will be staying for a couple of days we stopped for a picnic lunch at Tickle Park. It was right by the water and had a playground for you to have some fun in. This was more important to you than eating so you played while Mummy and Daddy had some food. As we were leaving you helped Mummy by carrying the picnic rug and backpack (it looks a bit big on you, mostly because it’s adjusted to fit Mummy) to the car.

Before we go on holiday tomorrow, you were helping Daddy to move the last of the furniture ready for our floors to be sanded. I love the fact that you think that you can actually move it on your own.

We have had a very busy week and then I realised that we will be away for Father’s Day, so we would have to prepare early so that we could give Daddy his presents before we left on our mini holiday. This meant we would have to make his favourite “Nuts and Bolts” today, so you gave me a hand with the mixing.

You are 100% cheeky to the core. You were getting your things ready for our holiday, you’re all important hat. I asked you to give me a big smile. What do you do, pull your cheeks and give me this big grin.

Today we went to your friend Kaley’s 3rd birthday party. She had a princess and pirate theme, so you and Preston were dressed up as pirates. However it didn’t last long. You were there a matter of minutes and had put your sword down and taken your pirate hat off. You did have plenty of fun though, running around with the other little ones. There was a big bucket of bubbles and wands to use, which you found and decided to give a go. It was quite funny watching your technique, it sure was unique to say the least.
