I’m very sad to say that this is the last of our photo a day. I’ve had to make the hard decision to stop, and if it wasn’t for the floor/house disaster I think I could have managed to go longer and perhaps for the entire 365 days. But for now I’m hoping to wrangle together a photo a week, but we will have to wait and see. I’m so sad to have to stop, but life has just got in the way of taking the photos. This is all I managed for today, a typical photo of you with two drinks on the go (water and milk) and eating, some days it’s like you don’t stop!

I just love this one of you. You were sitting in front of me and leaning back to look at me with your cheeky little grin, chewing on your dummy. Such a funny little boy.

We have come home to a disaster site, and this week is going to be a nightmare while we wait for someone to re sand and polish the floors after a horrible job was done. Doing our best to keep you both entertained, you have been watching your favourite videos on youtube since we have no tv for the meantime.

Using what we can to entertain you both you decide that the backpack is fun to play with.

Both of the photos of you and your brother for today are to celebrate Father’s Day, so they are of you with Daddy on your first Father’s Day.

For our entire holiday you and Daddy have been going for rides around our accommodation on your trike. You still refuse to use the pedals but there are quite a few hills that you are flying down. Here’s a nice photo of you on a walk on Father’s Day with your Daddy.

After a bit of a chilly swim in the swimming pool it was time to warm up back at the room in the spa bath. It’s also a very important moment to note down…you were standing in the buff and you told us that you needed to do a pee. Daddy took you to the toilet and you did your first pee in the toilet, you were very proud.

This afternoon we thought it might be a good opportunity to have a swim. This would have been your first swim in a pool but unfortunately the water was much too cold and you got up set and fussed every time I tried to put you in. I tried the spa area at the pool, but this was too hot. So this isn’t your “first swim,” I guess we will have to wait until it gets warmer to try again. We settled for a nice splash in the spa bath in our room instead. I do however love this photo, you look like a real little surfer with your blonde locks!

You had a fantastic time at Australia Zoo today. I snapped this one of you having a little rest and cuddle with Daddy while looking at your favourite animal…the rhinos.

This is probably your first mischievous act (and just for the record, it happened on Daddy’s watch!) which of course deserves a photo taken before we stop you from pulling the entire pack of wipes out. Mummy was off getting things ready so we could go to the zoo, meanwhile Daddy was “looking after you” and this is the result.
