But as a mother I feel they are so very important. If I didn’t take selfies with the kids then I would never be seen in a single photo, which would mean that I would have no photos of myself or of me with my children. I get to see them grow and the changes but taking these photos, but it is also a reminder of the love I have for them. In such a crazy busy world and in the haze of raising kids, you don’t always get to see what’s happening in the moment. You can feel overwhelmed and not always recognise the good things. It might sound silly, but looking back at the selfies with my kids shows me I’m not doing such a bad job after all. We are our worst critics!
