After having a couple late, rough nights with Mr Addison I had missed out on trying a friends recipe for a 5 minute sticky date pudding all done in the microwave. So tonight was the night!!! And boy were they yummy :)

I had some trouble with the sauce and actually burnt it (gave it a touch too long in the microwave even though I followed the recipe) but despite that slight mishap the puddings were perfect!

Charles has actually asked me to make them for the whole family over the weekend when we are in Toowoomba. I guess I’m off to get more dates!!!

5 Minute Sticky Date Pudding

The are made in a mug so there is virtually no mess or clean up other than a couple measuring spoons. A very simple recipe and easy to make when you have very limited time on your hands (like me!).

Here is the link to my friend Melissa’s blog The Whimsical Wife, so you can get the recipe and try them yourself!!
