I think this is going to be one of the most special days for me, today is my first mother’s day. This time last year Addi was still in my belly and now he is here and with me to enjoy this day with me. Daddy bought me some pretty tea cups for mother’s day that match my china set perfectly.
Since Charles’ mum has come to visit this weekend (due to the Tupperware party yesterday) and my mum lives close by we are going to all get together and have a mother’s day picnic. Nanny also bought me a little something special for the day, two cute white ceramic birds in a pretty gift box. Hopefully next year I will get a little something made by Addi!! I can’t wait!
Besides having to prepare my own mother’s day picnic, we finally set off to Nanny and Poppy’s house to pick them up and head to a park. When we got there we tried to use the BBQ to cook our food and it wouldn’t work!! Just lucky the part was close to their home, Daddy and Poppy went back with the food to cook it and bring it back (what an exercise!). They eventually got back and we enjoyed a lovely meal together.
Before Gran and Uncle Regan had to head back to Toowoomba we took some photos to remember my first mother’s day. I’ve broken these up over the next couple of posts to share with you all :).
