Here are a couple of photos of Addi at playgroup today. It was our final playgroup before the holidays start so we had a special dress up day for our break up.
Addi isn’t really a fan of dressing up so I knew it was going to be a challenge to come up with something that he would actually wear. Thankfully Gran came to the rescue with a great idea, put him in his flannelette shirt and jeans with his tonka hard hat on to dress him up as a construction worker.
Luckily I had a costume for Preston, I just wasn’t sure how it would fit. It wasn’t too bad, but a little big in the arms. You might remember I bought a white tiger costume for Addison when he was just over 12 months old, but he only ever wore it once as it was a little small for him (despite being for a 12 to 18mth old), that’s why I thought it might be ok on Preston at 7mths. I didn’t get to take Preston’s photo but I’m hoping someone else at playgroup may have so I can share it with you.
I went as a bunny using the bunny ears from Easter and a pom pom for a tail. The main thing was remembering to take my tail off before going to the shops after playgroup!!! (I’m happy to report I did).
It’s lovely to see photos of Addi at playgroup – I love the one of him listening to stories. He really is listening.
