After a long week of cleaning the house ready for the party and a general spring clean, mum and I have decided to have a little bit of a working bee to prepare for the baby shower. Today we will hit the shops and try to get all of the last bits and pieces we need for the shower, tying up all the lose ends. While tomorrow we will work on completing the thank you favours, making the prizes, preparing the games, creating some homemade chocolates and making a wishing tree, or tree of life that I’m calling it since it’s not actually a wishing tree.
This should just leave the party food and cake as the final parts to worry about…oh and of course setting up of all the decorations etc. But for now that will have to wait as we still have furniture all squished into the middle of the living room in preparation for the ceiling rafters to be painted on Wednesday. Once the painting is complete I can put my house back together in time for the party! or at least that is the plan.
I would love to show you all photos of what I have been working on for the baby shower but am keen to keep it all a surprise for my guests. I will be sure to post pictures of everything I have made for the baby shower and of course photos from the party itself after the event. So until then you will have to be patient, but not long now, only one week to go!
