Something we have been wanting to do for a while now is go back and visit point danger again. What better way to do that, than with a packed, picnic lunch! Unfortunately our plans got changed with Daddy having to fly out for work unexpectedly, which delayed our picnic. But we made it eventually! It was nice timing to also have Gran come visit and join us.

Addi took his lightning McQueen remote control car with us and drove it around on the grass. Preston spent plenty of time exploring and had us chasing him constantly to bring him back to our picnic rug. Even Addi went to fetch him, walking back hand in hand – the perfect big brother. Pressie had a little accident, another grazed knee – your typical little boy.

Addi and Pressie decided that they would eat all the strawberries and had their fair share of the cheese, crackers and kabana. Everyone enjoyed the food and the wonderful view.

At first Addi was scared of the dead leaves that had fallen from the trees, refusing to step on them…until we explained what they were. After that he enjoyed playing with them.

We had a great afternoon together, we are all looking forward to our next family picnic.
