Today our big boy turns 4! It’s been a whirlwind of a month trying to get organised for both of the boys birthdays in between welcoming a new little brother into the mix but somehow we managed.
This year we decided to have a joint birthday present for the boys (since their birthdays are only a week apart) and let’s face it, these kids have as many toys as a day care and really don’t need any more. But you can’t not get the kids some toys so we still wrapped up a few for them. Their joint present is a cubby house! So rather than more inside we focused this year on making some outdoor fun.
We bought the cubby a few months ago and have been putting it together, painting and decorating plus making a kitchen for it. This has been no easy job since doing anything while pregnant is a challenge. But even more so trying to finish it off after birth and having a newborn in the house demanding Mummy’s attention. We haven’t managed to have it finished in time for their birthdays however it’s not far off. They can still play in it and we keep working away at it. We hope to have it totally done by Christmas. We both knew it was going to be a tough task to have it complete in time especially during pregnancy.
Addi our now big boy of the house is turning into such a loving and caring boy. This has certainly shown in the last couple of weeks. Seeing the love he has for both his brothers and his beautiful personality, a Mummy and Daddy couldn’t ask for more.
