Something special that I wanted to do for the guests of Squiggle’s baby shower was to hand make the thank you favours. I’m a big believer in giving thank you favours at any type of party, I just don’t think it’s right to let guests leave empty handed…especially when they always buy such lovely gifts for the guest of honour.
For the high tea baby shower I of course thought it appropriate to include some of the teas available on the day at the party, so guests could take them home and enjoy them later. But I also wanted to put something a little bit special as a keepsake. I have seen them made before, they are any type of silverware…from serving pieces, to in this case, your humble tea spoon. They are decorated using wire and beads and have a stunning affect when done well. Here are the little thank you favours I put together.
