Something that I have seen in the past, mostly used for wedding guest books is a tree with all of the guests thumb print and signature. I love this idea and thought that it would look fantastic on the inside of my pregnancy belly mask. Of course with there only being a small number of guests, thumb prints alone would not work so I decided that hand prints was the way to go. It wasn’t the easiest task since my cast is not flat, but between the hand prints, thumb prints and signatures the end result is better than I could have ever imagined!!

I’m over the moon with the result and am so pleased to have this ever lasting memory of my baby shower and pregnancy with Squiggle.

Here is the inside of my decorated pregnancy belly mask by Cassy at Signature Sculptures.

Next I have to set to work on painting the front. It will eventually be framed and hung with other keepsakes from my pregnancy with Squiggle such as photos from my maternity shoot, his birth and birth certificate.
