Today I finished making a turtle rattle for Addi that I had been working on. Charles was actually going to make the turtle but he ended up falling asleep on the couch when I started getting everything ready! We have been having a couple long days and not getting the best nights sleep so I can understand him having a nap.
Mind you it was probably better in the long run that I made the turtle as I had never done it before myself and had to make the pattern. It would have been quite difficult to explain to someone else how to do it when I had never made one myself. I’m really happy with how it has turned out.
Felt Turtle Rattle
He has a handle that also contains extra folley bells however the turtle could just be made as is, without the handle as a turtle toy. If you would like to make one of these turtle rattles I have prepared a PDF pattern with directions which is free to download here: Turtle Rattle Pattern
