Today we had casts done of Preston’s hands and feet by Cassy at Signature Sculptures (who also did my Pregnancy belly mask during my pregnancy with Preston). I can’t wait to see the finished framed hands and feet. We have decided on a midnight blue background with gold hands and feet. There will also be a photo from our newborn photos by Sandi Wallis Photographer and a plaque with his name, date of birth and age at the time of casting.
I thought I would take a photo of the casts so that you can see what they look like and also photos of each of Preston’s hands and feet at the age of the casting.
We tried to get Addi’s too but he didn’t cooperate and kept putting his finger through the casting material which meant the mould would have a hole in it and wouldn’t work. We will just have to try when he is older. The main thing was to get Preston’s so at least that was a success. I can’t wait to see the finished product!
