Well as promised, here is the finished product of my practice quilt cover. I’m actually very happy with how it has turned out. For something that cost me $6.50 to make (due to my hording of scraps of fabric) it certainly was worth the time and effort. I’m really looking forward to making another one.

This one is made with quite thick fabrics, so I think it will be the winter quilt cover as it has a little more weight to it. Plus with the fabrics I picked up the other day from spotlight, the next cover I make will be much lighter and perfect for summer. As a first attempt, I think I did quite well!!!
