Yesterday I bid on and won a porta cot from eBay for $56.00 and we picked it up today after the bridal shower. I didn’t want to buy a new porta cot as it won’t be used all that often. We will only be using it for visits to Addi’s grandparents houses, so a second hand one from ebay was perfect for us.
The people selling the cot were wonderful. They demonstrated how to use the cot and even gave me a couple sheet sets and baby blankets. We will be testing it out next weekend when we have a sleep over at Nanny and Poppy’s house for our birthday weekend.

I think it is going to come in very handy as it has a removable section for younger babies and also a change table section. It also has a toy bar that I decided to add too with some felt creations. Plus a side pocket perfect for storage of sheets and blankets. When Addi is bigger we can also use it as a play pen.
We will store it at my parents house and when we decide to visit Charles’ parents we can easily stop in on our way, pack it up in the travel case and carry on to their house.
