This weekend Addi wanted to feed the duckies at the park. Not having any old bread I grabbed out a couple of pieces from our fresh loaf and gave it to Addi in a bag for the ducks. Off we went to the park eventually after Preston woke from his nap.
Daddy spent some quality time with Preston, carrying him in the baby carrier while Mummy and Addi tried to feed the ducks. We threw a couple of pieces of bread into the water, but to my surprise it was quickly gobbled up by fish!!! I had no idea that fish ate bread, but apparently they do!
The poor ducks were much too slow and barely got any of the bread. We tried our best to throw it far enough, and Mummy attempted to lure the ducks closer but with little success. Then we decided to go to a new spot and feed different ducks, where we spotted a turtle and an eel. The duckies in our new spot weren’t hungry so we tried to feed the turtle instead. A fun outing nevertheless!
We then headed over to the playground for some fun on the train and the swings.
