Tonight Charles and I went out (just the two of us) for the first time since becoming parents. Nanny and Poppy came and looked after Addison while we went to see the new Pirates movie at Gold Class (each year as a birthday gift, Charles gets two tickets from his work – we hadn’t used last years, in fact the last movie we saw was Alice in Wonder Land. Coincidentally with Johnny Depp.) cinemas.
I just loved the movie, but I love all the Pirates movies and Johnny Depp of course!! I thought it was really funny and had a great night. We also ordered dinner in the Gold Class theatre and the food was very tasty!!
It was a lovely night out together, and I didn’t even worry about Addi! I had left Nanny and Poppy some expressed breast milk so they were right to keep Addi happy, fed and entertained for the couple of hours we were away. I can’t say we didn’t miss him though, when we got home we both ran up the stairs to see our little boy. Love him to bits!!!
