This afternoon Addison decided that he was going to come out with some new words. Three “B” words in fact!! We were all in the back yard and Addi was playing with Mummy, while Daddy did some work. We were playing with his toy truck, rolling it down the ramp. Needles to say the truck would crash when it reached the bottom. It is no surprise then that two of Addison’s new words are “bump” and “bang.”
His third word was a very sweet moment. We were talking about his baby brother and asked Addi where the baby was. You guessed it “baby” was his third new word for the day.
We hope that he keeps this up and starts to add more and more words to his vocabulary.
A couple weeks ago Addi started using the word “more” and boy does he sound cute when he says it. Normally if he wanted more of something he would say “nan” which we can only think he picked up from maybe “again” or “another” we never really were sure on where he got it from. Nevertheless, all parents speak their own child’s language and know what they are wanting (at least most of the time). We of course always encourage the proper word and finally that has paid off. He still says nan first but then I say “more?” and he repeats it back in his sweet little voice. You can’t say no to that cute “more” :).
