Today of all my days in hospital has been the most painful. I’ve been very sore and have been keeping up the pain medication non stop just to get some relief.
One of the nurses checked my stitches and found that I am very bruised. I will be trying a salt bath later to see if that helps the healing process.
The most frustrating part is not being able to sit properly and it is very difficult to get up when Addison needs me. Luckily Addi has a very helpful daddy that is here to look after him and help me get up and about when needed.
Unfortunately I had to turn away some visitors today due to the pain and another very rough night with Addi. I’m sure I will catch up with them soon enough when we are settled in at home, but it is such a shame. The lack of sleep is starting to take its toll and we both can’t wait for discharge tomorrow! Back in our own home and our own bed, I will miss the hospital food though!! lol!!
