While I lap up the attention in hospital and have 3 course meals served to me everyday, not to mention morning and afternoon tea, daddy misses out.
Instead of hospital food daddy went across the road and picked himself up some subway for dinner… daddy just loves those subway cookies!!

Hospital is a little rough on the new fathers as they do not get meals (unless they pay extra) and have to sleep in a recliner chair rather than a bed. But Charles didn’t want to miss a minute of Addi’s first week of life and did his best to stay with me, giving me all the support and help that a new mum could ever need.
Although exhausted from the lack of sleep and long nights, Charles is amazing helping me through every step of not only the pregnancy but the labour and now caring for our baby. He is the most amazing husband and is going to make a wonderful father, both Addison and myself are so very lucky!
