After a rough night with Addi, Charles and I are quite exhausted however we must go on.
Today Addison had his hearing test done which we were allowed to take photos, I even got to keep the ear cups from the test – they will be going into his little time capsule as keepsakes.
It was very interesting to watch the test being performed. They put ear cups on to his ears, and position sensor pads on different parts of his body such as over his brain and the top of his spine on the back of his head. These sensor pads are all hooked up to a computer programme that read his neural responses to sound. It is pretty incredible technology!
Addison got a pass on both ears which is just wonderful news and means that he will develop normally with no hindrance from hearing difficulties.
